What are the weak links in a 350. i was gonna buy one of those master rebuild kits from tci with the clutches and steels. but what else should i look for. The car is going to be street/strip. Olds 403 .030 over. comp xe 274 cam. Mild port work to a set of #6 heads. I just wanna be on the safe side. And does anyone make an after market motor mount for a 79 T/A?

if you build the trans to min. specs and then build your shift kit in when you build your trans should be pretty bullet proof and i have seen urethane mounts avalible through performance suspension technology. check them out for your motor mounts
