front seat covers for my 68

Posted By: sevendollars On: 01-04-2008 @ 19:25:56         Reply | Edit
Hi,

I looking to get some front seat covers for my 68 firebird. I've got the standard black interior. I've seen the classic industries seat covers, are there any other brands on the market that are worth considering, does anyone have any experience with this? Don't want to spend lots but want to know if there are choices?

Thanks

Ben

Allen, I know I don't belong on this thread, but, dang, that's a sweet GTO.

Thank you sir. I wish it was still as nice as it was in that pic. Its been 15 years since I painted it,and its starting to show its age.

Here's a pic from right after I painted it,before I put on the stripes.

Nice! How long have you had it? What year is it? 69? 70?

Its a '70,it is a true Judge, all original except the engine, and of course wheels and tires, original engine long gone, was a Ram Air III,now a 455,4 speed,3.55 gears. I bought it the last week of May,1989,for $2500. The guy I bought it from really didn't know what he had. He told me "even if it had the original engine its not really worth any thing." Of course I wasn't going to disagree.
